Pine Woods Tree Frog and Yellow Pitcher Plant
The Yellow Pitcher Plant (Sarracenia flava) is a carnivorous plant and attracts and traps insects in its tube-like stalk. Other predators of insects are often found nearby these plants taking advantage of the plants attractiveness. This is a photo of a Pinewoods Treefrog (Hyla femoralis) after emerging from his/her hiding location inside the pitcher plant.
