Red Knots
The Rufa subspecies of the Red Knot has been known to migrate over 20,000 miles each year. From their breeding grounds in the Arctic to the tip of South America and back, it is truly an amazing feat. These Knots were photographed during their migration on Seabrook Island, South Carolina.
